Official Opening – Homeland Longford’s New Location – April 2025
Aurivo Co-Op is delighted to announce the official opening of its new Homeland Longford store on Athlone Road, marked by a ribbon-cutting ceremony on Thursday, 3rd April, the new location features a greatly enhanced offering including a Garden Centre and a Paint & Colour Consultation Centre.
Formerly a Homeland Agri store, the upgraded premises now offers an expanded product range including Clothing, DIY & Hardware, Agri, Fuel, Pet, Paint, and Garden.
Shannonside FM’s Joe Finnegan broadcasted live from the store, chatting with Store Manager Megan O’Rourke and Area Manager Fiona Creamer. Visitors enjoyed exclusive offers, refreshments, and a lively atmosphere throughout the day. Aurivo Chairman Raymond Barlow officially opened the store and was joined by CEO Donal Tierney, Sheila Maloney General Manager Agribusiness, Megan and Michael Tuohy for the ribbon cutting.
