Aurivo is proud of our history and heritage and playing an active role in our community is the essence of the co-operative’s mission, which advocates enhancing the lives of our members, customers, colleagues and the communities in which we operate in a sustainable way.
In recent years our co-operative has donated over €100,000 to charity. By choosing a Charity of the Year, our staff works together with our members, customers and the community to raise vital funds for very worthy causes. This year, our colleagues are working together to raise funds for Special Olympics Ireland.
With health and nutrition at the heart of our dairy product ranges, our consumer foods brands have active partnerships with local sports organisations. Our Donegal Creameries brand is official sponsor of Donegal GAA and our Connacht Gold brand is a proud supporter of Leitrim GAA, Mayo Association Football League, Sligo Rovers and the West of Ireland women’s mini marathon.
With 10,000 shareholder members, over 1,000 milk suppliers and 700 staff, our co-operative is firmly established as one of the biggest investors in the local economy. As part of that role, we endeavour to be an advocate for responsible business, by mentoring students through the Schools’ Business Partnership- an education inclusion programme that partners schools with large businesses.
Together with some of Ireland’s leading blue-chip companies, Aurivo contributes time and expertise to the educational initiative with the aim of increasing the rate of school completion and to enhance the educational experience for students, principals and teachers.
Our partnerships are a reflection of the strong commitment we have to the communities we operate in.
