Organic for Us video launched
An Grianan, Ireland’s largest organic farm, is profiled in a new video which tells the story of Aurivo’s Organic For Us milk brand.
The 800-acre farm at Speenogue, Burt is run by Ian and Emma Witherow and is the sole supplier of organic milk for Organic For Us. The video, which was produced by Aurivo Consumer Foods, shadows Ian and Emma as they manage their 500-cow high performing Friesian and Jersey herd. It shows the lush, clover pastures and gives a real insight into organic farming at its best. “Our method of farming goes back to the way my grandfather farmed. No chemical fertilisers or pesticides are used. By recycling everything back into the land, we use only natural resources,” said Ian. Ian and Emma returned from New Zealand to take over the running of the organic farm which is now regarded as one of the most efficient in the country. It has made a huge contribution to the success of the Organic for Us brand. Colin Harmin, the Irish Barista champion and owner of highly acclaimed 3fe coffee shop in Dublin, also features in the video. Colin, who has competed in barista competitions all over the world, is a strong advocate of An Grianan and Organic for Us.

Speaking about the video, Aurivo Brand Manager, Lydia Rogers said “In commissioning the production of the video our aim was to bring the Organic for Us brand alive. We wanted to tell the unique and special story about An Grianan- the one farm which produces all our Organic for Us milk”. “It’s a credit to Ian and Emma that Organic for Us has become the milk brand of choice for some of Ireland’s top coffee houses and it’s no wonder our wholemilk has been consistently honoured at the Blas na hEireann Awards” she added.
