Aurivo Co-operative Society Ltd is a co-operative register under the Industrial and Provident Societies Acts, Registration Number 5113R.
The society is owned by almost 10,000 shareholder members.
Under the current rules to become a shareholder it is necessary to:
- Be resident in the geographic region from which milk is supplied to the co-operative from farmer members.
- Operate a farm and be actively involved in farming.
A shareholder must purchase a minimum of 1,000 x €1 shares, i.e. €1,000
- One bonus share can be obtained for every €100 spent on Nutrias Feeds, every ton of Fertiliser purchased. These shares are allocated at the end of each year. Customers Share register number and their account number can be registered at their local Homeland store in order for them to avail of these bonus shares.
Aurivo has 16 advisory committees from areas representing shareholders; each electoral area nominates a member for the Board of Directors. The Chief Executive reports to the Board.
